Scent Emotions, a SIIM sister company, which specializes in intelligent air treatment products and fragrances, has received support from the cluster for the internationalization of its products.

The company was selected from amongst those companies that submitted their candidacy to the call for support for internationalization, aimed at members of the cluster with an interest in receiving help for the implementation of an international promotion plan of one of their products or services.

"One of Cluster MAV’s strategic lines is to foster the international projection of its member companies through promoting their presence abroad, international cooperation and international trade", explains Dolors Pla, Cluster Manager - CEO of Cluster MAV.

The service was carried out with the support of Martí Lloveras, an adviser specializing in export support and internationalization projects for companies, from Argos Trading. His contribution consisted in de development of a market study, the definition of commercial channels and the design of an action plan.

As a result of the service, which has been funded by ACCIÓ within the framework of the line to support Competitiveness Reinforcement Initiatives (IRC), Scent Emotions has received an analysis of its competitive environment, industry trends and potential customers, a research and selection of markets in different countries, identifying what are the existing and recommended channels of entry for the company, as well as tips and conclusions to facilitate the company the next steps to follow. Finally, an operational plan has been drawn up for its top priority countries with a detailed timetable proposal for action and budget needed to carry it out.
